Speak out at the upcoming SLO County Board of Supervisor Public Hearings.
Phillips 66 wants to bring over 7 million gallons of toxic, explosive crude oil by train through SLO every week. Phillips 66 has appealed the Planning Commission’s denial to the SLO County Board of Supervisors.
The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors will make the final decision on this project, and they need to hear from us - residents of SLO County and other impacted California communities. Take action now and tell SLO County decision makers to reject this dangerous project.
Join a growing chorus of neighbors, teachers, nurses, and community leaders to stop this plan in its tracks. The hearings will start Monday, March 13th at 9:00AM and continue every day that week as needed. Doors open at 8 A.M. and it is crucial that individuals who want to speak arrive as early as possible. There will also be a rally held on Monday March 13th at 12 P.M. (Noon). The hearings will likely last all day. We know that Phillips 66 will show up in force, but we can outnumber them many times over if we show up together!
