Finding a path forward to bridge the political divide has never been more important than now.

Is there a path that leads away from conflict and divisiveness, and instead towards understanding and common ground?

This interactive workshop will prepare participants to engage in dialogue with people of differing political views by building skills for listening, managing emotions, and perspective-taking.

People of all political persuasions can benefit from this free program.

Tania Israel is a Professor in the Department of Counseling, Clinical & School Psychology at UC Santa Barbara. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Past-President of the Society of Counseling Psychology (SCP).

This program is co-sponsored by SYV Community Action Alliance (SYVCAA) and SYV-DO, and made possible, in part, through funding from the Santa Barbara Gives! project.
